This is from the way-back machine. Back when EV chargers were new in the region around Kansas City, it was hard to find them. This social media game helped our early supporters get to know the landscape better. Now we have 1000+ charging stations around the metro, most of them readily available to the public.

Circa 2012:
It may surprise you to know there are currently 40 public electric vehicle charging stations in the 14-county Electrify Heartland planning area, including 35 stations within a 50-mile radius of downtown Kansas City.

Each Tuesday through Friday between June 25 and August 31, we’ll post a photograph of an electric vehicle charging station (also known as electric vehicle supply equipment or EVSE) located somewhere in Greater Kansas City or in Lawrence, Topeka, Salina, Wichita, Columbia or Jefferson City.

Tell us where each charging station is located using the form below. You can enter every day if you like, or submit your entry on our FACEBOOK PAGE. Each Monday, we’ll randomly select one winner from the correct responses received the previous week.
