Elon Musk claims that ‘funding was secured’ in infamous Tesla ‘420 take private’ attempt, but SEC/banks forced him to settle

Elon Musk opened up in a new interview yesterday about the SEC lawsuit regarding his attempt to take Tesla private back in 2018 and his infamous “funding secured” announcement.

The Tesla CEO now claims funding was indeed secured and that he was forced to settle with the SEC because the company’s banks were telling him that he wouldn’t be able to secure additional funding if he kept fighting the lawsuit.

Bollinger kicks off venture into commercial EVs by developing and piloting walk-in vans for Con Edison

Toyota to launch an electrified SUV version of its Crown sedan, the first Toyota exported to the US in the 1950s

A recent report out of Tokyo says that Toyota is working on an SUV version of its Crown sedan, arriving in hybrid, PHEV, and fully-electric versions for its home country in addition to exports of some versions to China and North America. The Crown was the first Toyota vehicle to be exported to the United States in 1958, and it has remained a mainstay model in the Japanese market for 67 years.
