Indian Motorcycle and Super73 release a fast e-bike that won’t need a motorcycle license

Iconic motorcycle company Indian has teamed up with the equally iconic electric bike manufacturer Super73 to leverage the branding of the former with the high power e-bikes of the latter. The result? An Indian-themed e-bike known as the eFTR Hooligan 1.2.

No motorcycle license necessary.

Awesomely Weird Alibaba Electric Vehicle of the Week: A tiger bus perfect for the Tiger King

There’s no shortage of weird, funky or wild electric vehicles on the Chinese shopping platform Alibaba. I’ve found some real doozies for past entries in this weekly column. But this week’s feature of an electric bus is particularly far flung. A tiger molded electric bus might prompt some to ask “Why….?”

Construction begins on the US’ first-ever offshore wind farm service operations vessel

The US offshore wind industry is ramping up quickly, and so too are the essential industries that will support it. Danish wind giant Ørsted, New England energy company Eversource, and Louisiana-based marine transport company Edison Chouest Offshore yesterday announced that shipbuilding has started on the Eco Edison, the first Jones Act-qualified offshore wind farm service operations vessel in the US.

A Brooklyn marine terminal is going to become a major offshore wind hub
