The Ladakh region in northern India is part of the larger disputed Kashmir region. It’s also a tourist destination, with its stunning scenery, Buddhist sites, and ecotourism. And now, electric vehicle drivers can tour on its dramatic, high-altitude roads surrounded by mountains, because a network of EV charging stations has been installed along the Manali-Leh route, which includes five of some of the highest drivable passes in the world.

Nuvve joint venture announces collab with BYD to integrate V2G tech in up to 5,000 BEVs

EV manufacturer BYD has announced a strategic collaboration with Levo – a joint venture between Fleet as a Service (FaaS) provider Nuvve, and capital investors Stonepeak, and Evolve. As part of the collaboration, BYD will implement Levo’s technology and capital to offer fully financed medium and heavy-duty BYD commercial EVs.

Maryland’s Skipjack Wind 1 offshore wind farm leaps forward with a $20M facility

Ørsted’s Skipjack Wind 1 will be a 120-megawatt (MW) offshore wind farm in Maryland that will power 40,000 homes once it goes live in the second half of 2026. It will generate $225 million in economic investment and create nearly 1,400 jobs in the state. Large offshore wind farms give rise to other projects, such as a new $20 million maintenance facility in Maryland for Skipjack Wind 1, which the Danish wind giant announced today.
