Awesomely Weird Alibaba Electric Vehicle of the Week: World’s smallest taco truck

One of the coolest things about the funky electric vehicles sprinkled around China’s largest online shopping platform is their small size. They often look like they were inspired by full-size vehicles, but then somehow shrunk in the wash. Though this week’s entry in the Awesomely Weird Alibaba Electric Vehicle of the Week column looks like it might have partially melted in the wash too.

That’s a win for us though, since now it gets to become the world’s smallest taco truck!

2023 Chevy Bolt EV is still the best value EV in America, by far

Long time Electrek readers will know that I leased a Chevy Bolt EV from 2017 until the pandemic and really loved that electric blue “Micro-SUV” EV; we’ve already taken a look at its younger sibling, the EUV with Super Cruise. But considering recent events GM has cleaned up the battery “issue” and lowered the price by $6000, and introduced 2023 model year – as well as a tax rebate refresh opportunity – I thought it would be fun to take another look at the now sub-$30,000 Bolt EUV.

This company is buying 200 Tesla vehicles per week and is now ordering 23,000 EVs

Autonomy, an electric vehicle subscription service using Tesla vehicles, announced that it is adding Tesla Model Y to its fleet and is now taking delivery of about 200 Tesla vehicles per week.

It is also about to expand to other EVs with an order of 23,000 EVs that will include EVs from Rivian, Lucid, Ford, and more.
