BYD launches popular Dolphin, Seal, and Atto 3 EVs in Kenya with local Toyota dealer
Kenya just got a new EV competitor. On Wednesday, BYD launched three of its top-selling EVs, the Dolphin, Seal, and Atto 3, in Kenya. The electric vehicles will be sold by local dealer Loxea, which sells Toyota and other gas-powered models. BYD’s new partnership is another significant milestone as it takes on new markets.

A Canadian company called Cyclic Materials is working to create a circular supply chain for rare earth elements (REEs) using advanced recycling processes. The company just secured $53 million via a Series B equity round to accelerate its global expansion and recycling infrastructure.
