The Department of Energy announced $1.7 billion in grant awards today targeted at helping automakers keep 11 troubled manufacturing plants open and to start building EVs there.
Advanced material extraction technology company International Battery Metals hit a significant milestone today, beginning lithium extraction operations at a new facility in the US.
