Bankrupt e-bike company FUELL sold at auction, covering 2% of its outstanding debts

Fuell, the electric bike and motorcycle startup founded by legendary motorcycle designer Erik Buell, has officially sputtered to a stop. The company’s remaining assets were recently auctioned off for a total of around $170,000 – barely a speed bump against the nearly $7 million it owed to creditors.

The US’s first lithium from oilfield wastewater is coming this year

Element3 just raised a fresh round of funding to launch the first US commercial lithium extraction plants, and it’s sourcing the lithium from oil and gas wastewater in Texas. That’s a big deal because it means there will be a domestic lithium supply for EVs and battery storage within a few months.
